DON’T VOTE for Veekas Shrivastava for Tempe Elementary Schools

Yes, you read that correctly, this time it’s an elementary school district that is threatened.  Veekas Shrivastava is a Planned Parenthood sympathizer who is seeking a seat on a local school board for a second time.  Two years ago, he unsuccessfully ran for Tempe Union High Schools (TUHSD) governing board, this year he’s trying for the elementary district.

It’s disappointing that we have to monitor the elementary districts to make sure Comprehensive Sex Ed doesn’t make it to the little kids, but we must.  We need to be especially vigilant in Arizona and cities like Tempe.  Earlier this year, a state representative from Tempe, Senator Juan Mendez, attempted to legislate sex ed for kindergarteners.  He represents the same legislative district in which some of Tempe’s elementary schools reside (L26).

Also, here’s what may eventually show up at your elementary school if Planned ParenthoodComprehensive Sex Ed is allowed.  While it’s easy to think “that won’t happen here”,  check out how Planned Parenthood has taken over elementary schools in an area near the Seattle schools where the kids are getting IUDs in school sans parents.

It is also common to think these programs won’t occur as long as parents are involved with their kids and are volunteering at the schools–there are too many eyes to get these programs past observant adults.  Sadly, I must admit the seeds for Planned Parenthood’s sex ed were planted during which time I was a devoted parent in TUHSD.  Veekas Shrivastava was one of the sowers; he was the Youth Town Hall Chairperson in the attached synopsis.  Drop down to page 14 to read the details of what the youth wanted for sex ed.  (Didn’t we just witness youth demanding sex ed in Tucson?)

It gets better, here are some key names on the Youth Town Hall Sex Ed Committee: tempe sex council adults

Zita Johnson ended up heading the TUHSD sex ed committee which invited Planned Parenthood to speak for 90 minutes in early 2014 so the Governing Board could choose one of their curriculums.  Bronwyn Paes is the TUHSD employee who sent the email to Planned Parenthood requesting sex ed curriculum from them, although she denied it on record at a future school board meeting.  (A Freedom of Information Request proved Ms. Paes invited Planned Parenthood in September, 2013.  She denied it in public in February of 2014.)

helmIn December of 2014, Michelle Helm was one of TUHSD Governing Board’s four YES votes, accepting Planned Parenthood’s curriculum as Tempe Union’s sex ed.   The table was set many years before Planned Parenthood actually showed up.  Pay close attention in the attached synopsis to the words “Public Health Agencies” and providing facilitators to administer the new Comprehensive Sex Ed program.  Who could the Town Hall members be referring to? Also note that not once was any reference made to children discussing this personal and family issue with any clergy or religious organization.  That’s right, God is not allowed in schools but Planned Parenthood is.  A lot of good that is doing.

So for me, mea culpa.  And for this reason, we cannot allow those sympathetic to Planned Parenthood to have access to our children.  As Planned Parenthood’s curriculum was being approved in TUHSD, Mr. Shrivastava tweeted the following:

Nip this Comprehensive Sex Ed in its Pink bud while you can, don’t vote for Veekas.

Thank you for this research. I am sorry that the only comments you have received so far are from PP trolls. This information has been helpful to me for the 2016 School Board election.

And you will have to answer to kids and explain to them why you voted against teaching them how the body works along with why they should wait because YOU want to keep them in the dark and dependent on you.

      Nobody depends on me.

I’m all in for medically accurate. Let me know when Planned Parenthood fits the bill.

Oh, check your school’s biology and physiology books. It’s all there, the chapter is title “Reproduction”. No need for Planned Parenthood in the schools when the districts are already providing science books.

Yes, thanks for the info. I will definitely be casting my vote for Veekas! Planned Parenthood has been working for years to educate our children. Who on earth wouldnt support sex education that is based on actual scientific facts?

Because Planned Parenthood is not based on science, but instead on making money. When did PP mention the risk of breast cancer increases with abortions? And that the pill is a Class 1 carcinogen? Cast your vote for Veekas, it’s your right. You will have to answer to the next generation when they ask why the adults in the room didn’t protect them.

Is Veekas asking his friends to post on here?

I’m happy to do the research for you, but YOU will have to answer to the children.
